   A Gypsy Rendezvous Overview...
The AHDRA Gypsy Rendezvous Nationals is on its eighth year.  If you’re a biker enthusiast living in the Midwest, and have never attended, you’ve been missing out on one of the fastest growing motorcycle events in the region. 

The event will be held April 18^th – 20^th .  It is an annual Armed Forces fundraiser sponsored by three local Harley-Davidson dealerships.  The dealers include Gateway Harley-Davidson in St. Louis, MO; Surdyke Harley-Davidson in Festus, MO; and Dale’s Harley-Davidson in Mount Vernon, IL.  The weekend is full of activities that include the "Gypsy Rendezvous" memorial ride, entertainment, bike show judged by industry professionals, the chance to win a new Harley-Davidson Street Bob, and drag races put on by the All Harley Drag Racing Association (AHDRA).  However, the central focus of the event is to raise money for the Missouri U.S.O.

On Friday of the event, a "Nitro" Kick Start Party begins with local or national celebrities hosted by all three dealerships to kick start the weekend.  On Saturday, the memorial ride leaves each individual dealership and will rendezvous at historic Fort Kaskaskia in Ellis Grove, IL.  From there, the riders make their way to Jefferson Barracks National Veterans Cemetery for a memorial ceremony, then on Gateway Harley-Davidson for the big post-ride party.  Sunday’s festivities are held at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, IL, just across the river from downtown St. Louis.  Experience the ground shaking 220 mph nitro Harleys, vendors, entertainment, bike show, national H.O.G. Pitstop, and the chance to win a new Harley-Davidson Street Bob.
